Fox News pundit Rich Lowry hits Trump below belt

Rich Lowry, a columnist for “National Review” who also serves as a frequest pundit for Fox News, went on the cable network’s “Kelly File” to say Donald Trump was completely torn up by Carly Fiorina in the most recent debate – that, in fact, the billionaire had his “balls” cut off, he said.

Specifically, Lowry said: “Let’s be honest. Carly cut his balls off with the precision of a surgeon and he knows it,” the Huffington Post reported.

And Kelly – who’s been the target of Trump’s ire for weeks now, subjected to tweeted messages calling her a “bimbo” and running down her professional abilities – reacted in shock.

“What did you just say? You can’t say that,” she said.

Trump, meanwhile, took to Twitter to press the Federal Communications Commission to fine Lowry.

He wrote: “Incompetent @RichLowrty lost it tonight on @FOxNews. He should not be allowed on TV and the FCC should fine him!”

Lowry quickly responded, also on Twitter: “Man, you can dish it out but you REALLY, REALLY can’t take it.”

Fox News is not subject to the FCC’s obsecenity and profanity rules because it’s a cable channel, rather than a broadcast network.

Lowry’s comments come on the heels of sling from Trump, who referenced him as “one of the dumbest of the talking heads” earlier this week, around the time he was announcing a boycott of Fox News.

Trump, as WND previously reported, announced: “Fox News has been treating me very unfairly & I have therefore decided that I won’t be doing any more Fox shows for the foreseeable future.” He had been due to appear Thursday on the “O’Reilly Factor” with host Bill O’Reilly, whom he had just criticized for unfair campaign coverage in a series of tweets.

But Fox has now countered that narrative, and in a statement to CNN, a spokesperson for the cable outlet said: “We canceled Donald Trump’s scheduled appearance on ‘The O’Reailly Factor’ on Thursday, which resulted in Mr. Trump’s subsequent tweet about his ‘boycott’ of Fox News.”
