Condoms at Carly: Fiorina pelted by crowd

Planned Parenthood supporters have a new method for dealing with outspoken critics: Scream and throw condoms at them.

On Saturday, Republican candidate Carly Fiorina found herself dodging condoms at at campaign event in Iowa City, Iowa. The condoms were thrown from a crowd of Planned Parenthood supporters.

“I think we’re making a difference. I think they’re scared that the people of America are starting to look at what’s really going on in a Planned Parenthood clinic,” Fiorina said to a reporter during her campaign tailgate event, NBC News reported.

Planned Parenthood supporters shouted “I-O-W-A, women’s rights are here to stay!” before some of them threw condom packets in Fiorina’s direction, NBC reported.

When a woman asked the former Hewlett-Packard CEO why she didn’t support women’s health care, she responded, “Oh, I support your health care. I don’t support the butchering of babies,” the network reported.

Fiorina angered Planned Parenthood supporters during CNN’s GOP debate Sept. 16 from the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, California.

The Republican discussed viral undercover videos by the Center for Medical Progress, which show Planned Parenthood employees negotiating the price of fully-functioning organs harvested from aborted fetuses.

“I was protested by Planned Parenthood people who were throwing condoms at me. I don’t know what that has to do with [the Center for Medical Progress videos],” Fiorina said Sunday during a “Meet the Press” interview with Chuck Todd. “They’re trying to distract the American people from the hideous reality that Planned Parenthood is aborting fetuses alive to harvest their brains and other body parts. That is a fact. Planned Parenthood cannot and will not deny this, because it is happening – and taxpayers are paying for it.”

Planned Parenthood performed 327,653 abortions during its 2013-2014 financial year and receives 542 million dollars from tax-payers each year, Breitbart News reported Monday.
