In a new investigative book on Islamic terror, a German journalist warns that ISIS is planning to release a “nuclear tsunami” on the world in an effort to force global submission to the Muslim faith.
Jürgen Todenhöfer, in his investigative book “Inside IS — Ten Days in the Islamic State,” says that the terror group is working to obtain nuclear weapons that it will employ to carry out “the largest religious cleansing in history.”
“The terrorists plan on killing several hundred million people. The west is drastically underestimating the power of ISIS. ISIS intends to get its hands on nuclear weapons,” he says.
“They now control land greater in size than the United Kingdom and are supported by an almost ecstatic enthusiasm the like of which I’ve never encountered before in a war zone. Every day hundreds of willing fighters from all over the world come,” the author also notes. “They are the most brutal and most dangerous enemy I have ever seen in my life. I don’t see anyone who has a real chance to stop them. Only Arabs can stop IS. I came back very pessimistic.”

During the summer of 2014, Jürgen Todenhöfer spent several months interviewing Islamists who had joined the Islamic State (IS). Todenhöfer’s terrifying warning comes as many foreign policy watchers throughout the world worry about the implications of the recently inked Iran nuclear deal because Middle Eastern countries upset with its outcome are signaling attempts to obtain nuclear weapons of their own. The resulting Middle Eastern arms race could provide ISIS ample opportunity to build a nuclear arsenal.
The Iran deal is slated to be fully implemented by early 2016.
