This week, Savage talked about why he’d written his new book “Government Zero: No Borders, No Language, No Culture.”
The book, he explained, is “for your neighbor who has an Obama ’08 sticker on his car, after all of these years, and doesn’t even know the damage this” – he paused, quickly searching for a softer word more suitable for print – “this creature, has done and is doing.”
“It’s for the wife or husband who is still liberal, who has her head in the sand, or his head in the sand,” he added. “It’s for a family member who is a lifetime Democrat and doesn’t know at all what systemic damage has been and is being done, nor the danger we are in.”
However, Savage noted, some people have misinterpreted what his book is about, after the Drudge Report picked up a WND story about it: “The emails came pouring in. ‘Savage has given up.’ ‘There’s no hope.’ ‘If we’ve lost Savage, we’ve lost it all.’ Well, therein lies the problem. People only read the headlines. The real story says I haven’t given up. I have great hope. We haven’t lost it all. We can win this war. But you ask me, what war am I referring to? It’s the war for the heart and soul of this nation and the rest of Western civilization, which is under assault by the government itself.”
Savage added that “Government Zero” ends with a detailed “battle plan” to save America.
Rush Limbaugh
After two polls in a row showed Donald Trump’s popularity declining, Rush Limbaugh talked about the “feeding frenzy” they’d started among Trump’s critics.
“The ‘drive-by media’ and even some in the conservative media are so excited they can barely stand it,” Limbaugh told his audience, “because of the latest polling data, both nationally and in Iowa. And depending on which networks you watch, you Trumpsters out there better prepare yourselves, because today it’s over. Trump has peaked and your best days are behind you.”
Meanwhile, failed 2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney went on a rant against new media, saying his missed the days when Americans only had “three networks” to get their news from.
“This is panic city because the standard rules are not working,” Limbaugh said in reaction to Romney’s remarks, adding: “I really think that full-fledged real panic has set in because Old Faithful has not erupted. Old Faithful is running dry. The old stand-by is not working, and that is all of the donors’ money spent on these ads. The ads are not working for Jeb. The ads were supposed to vanquish Trump, scare people away from Carson, demolish Fiorina and extol the virtues of a Jeb presidency and a Bush organization to prominence in Washington. And it isn’t working.”
Aaron Klein
Klein hosted a heated confrontation between himself and Sheikh Ibrahim Sarsur, the Islamic Movement leader who is helping lead the incitement campaign against Jews in Israel.
The campaign centers on an incendiary claim that Jews are trying to take over the Al Aqsa Mosque, located on the site known and revered by Jews as the Temple Mount.
“If a Jew goes to the Al Aqsa Mosque, what happens to the Muslims? Why is it so terrible?” Klein asked Sarsur.
“They can build their temple in Yemen from my point of view,” Sarsur shot back.
Klein also continued his coverage of the Benghazi hearings. Was the murdered ambassador acquiring man-portable air defense weapons? Why was he inside the compound the night of the attack? Why didn’t Special Forces go in? As always, Klein provided analysis of the Benghazi terror attack and investigation that no other radio host does.

Mark Levin
After watching the CNBC Republican debate, Levin called for the dismissal of RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, calling him a “boob” and “incompetent.”
From the beginning, Levin has criticized the RNC for allowing liberal journalists to moderate these debates. This time, Levin took issue with the moderators’ line of questioning (Free audio).
On that note, candidate Ted Cruz called out those moderators during the debate itself, then told Sean Hannity afterwards that he, Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin should serve as debate moderators instead.
“Why is it, we keep having debates where the moderators – no one in their right mind thinks the moderators will actually vote in a Republican primary?” Cruz asked. “Republican primary debates ought to be moderated by people who would actually vote in a primary. How about a debate moderated by Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, and Rush Limbaugh? (Free video)”
Laura Ingraham
On her new website, Lifezette, Ingraham asks why the GOP Congress continues to fold in the face of any challenges.
“Another day, another Republican abdication,” she wrote. “Now two men who are called ‘Republican congressional leaders,’ Sen. Mitch McConnell and House Speaker John Boehner, are going to agree with President Obama to raise spending by $80 billion over two years. … Why are the other members of Congress simply letting McConnell and Boehner negotiate this deal by themselves? Don’t the rest of them get salaries from the taxpayers? Why are they giving so much power to two men?”
Ingraham’s radio guests this week included Iowa pollster Ann Selzer, who talked about Ben Carson’s surge in the polls; the president of the Hispanic Leadership Fund (“Yes, people who are here working in the U.S. illegally should be deported”); and Ed Rollins: (If Marco Rubio beats Jeb Bush in Florida he is out, it doesn’t matter how much money Jeb’s Super PAC raises.) Glenn Beck
It was the video everyone was talking about: It showed a confrontation between a police officer and a student in a South Carolina classroom, one that many said showed the officer using excessive force.
Beck told Megyn Kelly on Fox News that the media’s anti-police response to this video is “an absolute ticket to anarchy, which is exactly what many in our country would like.”
Beck said the officer had been “put in an absolutely no-win situation.” By siding with the apparent victim in this case, he added, it will encourage more civilians to act out and if police react, “the cop’s gonna get in trouble (Free video).”
Later in the week, Beck voiced one of his greatest fears about the possible outcome of the 2016 election: that a President Donald Trump would try to shut down his media empire.
“Donald Trump would put us out of business overnight,” Beck warned his listeners. “He would put us out of business. He would work tirelessly to put us out of business (Free audio).”
