(WASHINGTON EXAMINER) Hillary Clinton’s personal IT aide will face questions about his involvement in setting up her private email server in a court deposition on Wednesday.
Bryan Pagliano, who worked for both Clinton and the State Department, will be deposed by attorneys from the watchdog group Judicial Watch. The organization is suing the State Department to release public records from Clinton’s tenure, and has been granted discovery to determine whether the secretary of state’s off-the-books email server was used to evade public records laws.
Pagliano’s attorneys have said he will assert his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination, and refuse to answer questions during the deposition. Earlier this month, U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan denied a request from Pagliano’s attorneys to prohibit the deposition from being videotaped. The tape will be sealed until further notice, but the transcript will be released publicly.
