Donald Trump turns to Hollywood for convention help

Donald Trump has gone Hollywood, turning to Ari Emanuel – the brother of left-leaning Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel – for help with developing a film to air at the Republican National Convention in July.

In an interview with the “Hollywood Reporter,” Trump said Ari Emanuel, a superagent in Hollywood, is a “good friend.”

Trump also said: “I call him a lot and we talk. He’s very political. Even though he’s not political, he’s political. He gets it.”

Trump said he’s in talks with Emanuel to help develop a celebratory film of Trump at the Republican convention when he receives the formal nomination for the party’s pick for president.

“You’re shocked to hear that, right? But yeah, I might do something [a movie] with Ari,” Trump said, CNN reported.
