WASHINGTON – WND’s November Israel tour just got more attractive for anyone still undecided about joining WND founder Joseph Farah, New York Times bestselling author Joel Richardson and Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer Richie Furay.
Laurie Cardoza-Moore, filmmaker, Israel advocate and founder of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, is on board as another expert on the unique history and future of the Jewish state.
It was Cardoza-Moore’s suggestion that the tour theme for 2015 be “Israel Indivisible.”
“I think this tour will be the best opportunity for Americans to get to know Israel in an intimate way this year,” said Farah, an Arab-American and former Middle East correspondent who has led tours of several hundred each in 2013 and 2014. “I was really excited about the opportunity to see Israel with my good friends Joel Richardson and Richie Furay, but now, with the addition of Laurie to the team, I can hardly wait to leave.”
The tour is scheduled for Nov. 2, so there is still time to register and save money on air fares that will rise by the end of July. Check out the website for the details or call WND’s travel partner Coral Tours right now at 866-267-2511.
Farah says a trip to Israel this year is very timely because of the spiritual and cultural darkness surrounding America at this moment in history.
“If you want to understand what’s happening to America today, with the retreat from morality and the breaking down of our culture, you should understand there’s a precedent for all of what we are experiencing,” Farah said. “The precedent is ancient Israel. And the good news is that God doesn’t forsake His people. Israel is living proof of that. It’s the only nation in the history of the world to be resurrected from the dead just as it was prophesied in the Bible. Now I don’t want America to go through the kind of judgment Israel experienced. But that’s what is ahead of us without a change of spiritual course.”
Israel, Farah says, is perhaps the best proof in the world today that God is still on the throne – still at work, still forgiving people, still fulfilling His promises.
“Yet the world takes Israel’s existence today for granted. Even Christians and Jews take Israel’s existence for granted,” Farah says. “Let me tell you something: If you want to shake up your spiritual life and find a closer relationship with your Creator, come to Israel with me this fall. You will never be the same person, again. To coin a phrase, it will ‘fundamentally transform’ you – in a good way.”
Farah says this year’s group will be smaller and more intimate than the 2013 and 2014 trips, but he thinks that will make it even more special for participants.
“Everyone on this tour will know everyone else by the end of 10 days,” says Farah. “That will make it a once-in-a-lifetime experience for all, with new friends and long-lasting relationships started.”
Farah brings his unique experience as an Arab-American and former Middle East correspondent to the tour. Joel Richardson brings his biblical scholarship to the tour, having written best-selling books like “The Islamic Antichrist,” “Mideast Beast” and his latest “When a Jew Rules the World.” Richie Furay brings his pastoral love and world-renowned musical excellence as he demonstrated in the pioneer rock group Buffalo Springfield and his own super-group Poco. And Laurie Cardoza-Moore brings her passion for the land and the people and her excellent communication skills.
“What a team,” proclaims Farah. “I can’t wait. Do you feel that tug on your heart to join us? That’s God speaking to you. Don’t resist. Don’t put it off. Consider this message from me as confirmation of all you are feeling and have been feeling and will continue to feel until you listen to that still small voice and just do it! It’s time for you to go to Israel and experience the miracle of that land as I have countless times over the last 35 years.”
