Celebrate the 2nd Amendment as Democrats have more sit-ins

If you’re a 2^nd Amendment supporter, head out to the range or your local gun shop Wednesday to show your support for the right to bear arms. While you do that, Democrats around the country will be having “family sit-ins” for gun control suggested by their party leaders.

As a follow-up to their useless congressional sit-in for gun control last week, Democratic lawmakers in the House are urging supporters to “carry forward the momentum” with a “national day of action.”

“On Wednesday, and all this week, we urge you to hold a family sit-in to disarm hate to engage your community and keep the drumbeat for action growing – and gun violence prevention groups who helped amplify our voices last week on the ground and on social media stand ready to assist,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said in a memo to colleagues.

The California Democrat is also urging gun control supporters to develop a grassroots propaganda blitz for increased gun control.

“As part of these events, we must also continue to strengthen our outreach on social media to engage and galvanize the millions of Americans who watched the livestreams of our sit-in last week,” she said.

Galvanize is a word we’re hearing more and more from Democrats talking about new gun control legislation.

“We don’t have the numbers to get things done, so we have to turn to more dramatic displays to galvanize the public so they can help us pressure the Republicans to do what’s right,” Democratic Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison recently told reporters.

In other words, get ready to see more Democratic-led anti-2^nd Amendment stunts in the coming weeks.

For 2^nd Amendment supporters, the best course of action is probably to keep buying firearms and ammunition and enjoying relaxing afternoons at the range.
