(CLEVELAND.COM) CLEVELAND, Ohio — Federal agents and Cleveland police are investigating whether stickers passed out Wednesday during Republican National Convention protests in Public Square are to blame for the illnesses of two police officers.
The two officers — a Georgia State Trooper and a Cleveland police officer — were both treated for skin irritations about 4:30 p.m. after someone put a sticker on them, according to police.
The Cleveland officer is receiving medical care, police said. The Georgia trooper was treated and released. Police said they have not conclusively linked the stickers to the illness but are investigating that it’s possible.
