From Pyongyang to the Puget Sound — and most points in between — it’s time for a look back at the week that was. Personal Liberty Digest® presents: The WIRE!
Secretary of State John Kerry announced this week that he has determined ISIS is committing genocide against Christians in Iraq and Syria.
“Hey, these ISIS cats seem like bad dudes!” Wow, no flies on you, Mr. Secretary.
The evil dwarf who owns North Korea continued his latest tantrum this week, firing 2 missiles into the Sea of Japan.
Guess they didn’t get the memo about how Obama has “improved” America’s standing abroad.
President Obama is sick and tired of the “vulgar and divisive” tone of American politics. They’re his friends; why not just tell them himself?
Which one’s “Vulgar,” and which one’s “Divisive?”
Speaking of vulgar and divisive, no shortage of either this week when Obama declared Planned Parenthood’s chief abortionist Cecile Richards a “real life superhero.” Apparently, he’s unaware that her group’s idol — eugenicist bigot Margaret Sanger — would have preferred he not even exist.
Trust me. You don’t want to know what her superpower is.
Obama nominated Judge Merrick Garland to replace Justice Antonin Scalia. The Lilliputian Garland has a well-established record of hostility to the 2nd Amendment, meaning he can fill Scalia’s shoes neither literally nor figuratively.
At least get the little guy something to stand on.
Despite his own party’s — and his own personal — record of obstructionism on Supreme Court confirmations, Obama lashed out at Senate Republicans, accusing them of “abdicating their Constitutional duties.”
Right. And Donald Trump thinks the rest of us should cut back on the hair gel.
After two days, Missouri’s Democrats finally got around to figuring out that Nana won their primary, pushing Bernie Sanders’ campaign one step closer to the grave. Nonetheless, Uncle Grandpa didn’t quit the race.
He thinks he’s winning. They’re just letting him pretend until the meds kick in.
While Hillary increased her lead over Bernie, Donald Trump’s momentum continued, pushing Senator Marco Rubio out, and getting closer to closing out Senator Ted Cruz and Governor John Kasich. With every passing moment, Trump v. Clinton becomes more and more unavoidable. Where did we go wrong, America?
It’s not like there weren’t plenty of signs.
Another “senior moment” for Nana, who claimed this week that “we didn’t lose a single person in Libya.” At least, I hope it was a “senior moment.”
They’re not dead. They’re chilling on a secret island with Elvis, Jim Morrison and Hillary’s conscience.
Disgraced former University of Missouri “professor” Melissa Click continued her flame out this week, penning an op-ed for The Washington Post in which she claimed the student she assaulted was part of a “surveillance” operation.
Mizzou should just go ahead and start issuing refunds to students who took Dr. Crazypants’ “class.”
And, a thug in Seattle learned the hard way that a good guy with a gun saves lives, after he tried to rob the store with a hatchet, only to be shot by a customer with a firearm.
Classic blunder. He brought an axe to a gunfight.
And that’s your week in review! For the Personal Liberty Digest®, I’m Ben Crystal saying “See you next week, on The WIRE!”
