(Politico) President Barack Obama poked some fun at Ted Cruz’s eligibility to be president during the state dinner with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Thursday.
Obama toasted to shared values of equality and opportunity and said those values were influencing the 2016 presidential race, according to a pool report.
“Where else could a boy born in Calgary run for president of the United States?” he said.
