The recently released videos revealing multiple executives for Planned Parenthood negotiating over the prices for the body parts of aborted babies – one incredibly stated “I want a Lamborghini” – soon might be the least of the abortion industry leader’s problems.
After all:
- A new complaint has been filed in Colorado against the same facility featured in this week’s video from Center for Medical Progress that alleges Planned Parenthood of the Rockies is in violation of state law.
- Nearly two dozen senators have introduced legislation that would prohibit federal funding (about $500 million a year) from going to Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
- Longtime and ardent abortion supporter Hillary Clinton said, “I have seen pictures from them [the videos] and obviously find them disturbing.” She suggested the whole issue should be reviewed, not just “one organization.”
- And the CMP said there are nine more Planned Parenthood undercover videos still to be released.
There was a movement of support for the abortionists, too. Breitbart reported, “A devil-worshiping group calling itself the Satanic Temple” set up a donation website to raise money for a reproductive rights campaign.
The organization “is an active campaigner for rights to legal abortion on demand, and rails against all legislation restricting abortion, including ultrasounds, and abortion waiting periods.”
Violation
The claim that Planned Parenthood of the Rockies was breaking state law came from officials with the Alliance Defending Freedom.
They said they have filed a complaint with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies because, according to documentation from a recently settled civil lawsuit, two agents of Planned Parenthood “failed to comply with Colorado law by not reporting the sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl, performed an abortion on the girl without giving notice to her parents and returned her to the custody of the sexual predator who continued to sexually molest her.”
In addition, the ADF reported, still pending is a lawsuit that the Planned Parenthood affiliate got $14 million of taxpayer subsidies in Colorado despite a state constitutional amendment that prohibits the use of state taxpayer dollars either to “directly or indirectly” fund abortions.
“Failing to report the sexual abuse of a minor is horrifically tragic and illegal,” said ADF Legal Counsel Natalie Decker. “Planned Parenthood has repeatedly shown brazen and appalling disregard for the law, including laws designed to protect children from this kind of damaging physical and emotional abuse.”
According to court documents in the case, no Planned Parenthood employee asked about the nature of the girl’s relationship with the predator even though she is a minor. The offender, in that case a stepfather, since has been convicted and jailed.
“Colorado law mandates the reporting of known or suspected abuse of minors…. Had any of their employees made a call to authorities the day they saw this 13-year-old girl with her abuser, as Planned Parenthood is legally obligated to do, her abuse would have ended.”
The move in the U.S. Senate is just one of several addressing the federal funding for Planned Parenthood.
Under this plan, Sens. Rand Paul, R-Ky., Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, and James Lankford, R-Okla., along with 21 more senators proposed prohibiting federal funding of Planned Parenthood.
“This legislation prohibits federal dollars going to Planned Parenthood, while at the same time protecting and preserving federal funding of women’s health services provided by other eligible entities,” their announcement said.
“I am encouraged that the Senate will soon vote on our bill to defund Planned Parenthood. The continued disregard and disrespect for human life at Planned Parenthood is appalling to the American people and they should no longer be forced to fund this organization with their tax dollars,” Paul said.
‘Distressing’
ABC reported while Hillary Clinton continues to offer her wholehearted support for the Planned Parenthood activities, she did admit that unsettling nature of the truth revealed in the videos.
Planned Parenthood’s assertions have been that all of the activities are legal as well as ethical. It also has sent letters to various news organizations saying that the controversy should not be aired.
David Daleiden, founder of CMP, told the Daily Caller in an interview that more details are coming.
“We have close to 300 hours total of undercover video that was gathered during a 30 month long in depth investigative journalism study of how Planned Parenthood sells the body parts of the babies they abort,” Daleiden said.
He continued to explain while nine more videos are coming, the unedited video of each interview will be made available too.
“Every taping we did during this project was done in full compliance with the local recording laws. The video specifically from the pathology lab at the Planned Parenthood clinic that was included today, that was done in Denver, Colorado, which is a one party consent state, which is completely applicable,” he said.
It also was reported that Planned Parenthood declined to attend an event in Texas where the state attorney general was reviewing some of the undercover video.
Reported Ed Morrisey, “The existence of the CMP video of a clinic in Texas and the AG’s interest in it would at least tend to imply that there are legal issues that arise from it.”
WND reported just a day earlier on the massive grass roots reaction to Planned Parenthood.
Then, an estimated 12,000 Americans in as many as 65 U.S. cities took to the streets to demand an end to federal funding of Planned Parenthood.
The “Women Betrayed” rallies, coordinated by Students for Life of America and Pro-Life Future, followed release of three undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood executives negotiating deals to collect and deliver the baby parts. The investigation was carried out by the Center for Medical Progress. In one video, a Planned Parenthood executive haggles over prices and says, “I want a Lamborghini.”
A rally at the U.S. Capitol featured the following speakers: Dr. Ben Carson; Sens. Rand Paul and James Lankford; Reps. Marsha Blackburn, Andy Harris, Tim Huelskamp and Chris Smith; Marilyn Musgrave of the Susan B. Anthony List; Penny Nance of Concerned Women for America; Jeanneane Maxon of Americans United for Life; and Arina Grossu of the Family Research Council.
Just as the third undercover video was being released, Sen. Cruz told the crowd the videos are “nothing short of horrifying,” and he demanded the Department of Justice investigate “whether Planned Parenthood nationally is a criminal enterprise breaking the law.”
“To see a senior Planned Parenthood official laughing and saying that she hopes she sells enough body parts of unborn children to buy a Lamborghini, there is no ambiguity in what we’re seeing. When we see the truth, after a time for truth comes a time for action. Today is a time for action,” Cruz said.
“I call upon our friends in the mainstream media to ask Hillary Clinton is she is pleased that she has so much passion and support from Planned Parenthood, an entity that appears to be a national criminal enterprise. I call on mainstream reporters to ask Hillary Clinton if she supports Planned Parenthood’s sale of body parts and direct violation of federal criminal law.”

WND also has reported that as horrific as the videos appear, they should surprise no one, since such practices have been documented for nearly two decades already.
One price list uncovered by a pro-life organization dated June 1998 points out that the price per specimen from a second trimester abortion is $90 fresh and $130 frozen.
Mark Crutcher, whose Life Dynamics organization was a ground-breaker in investigating the abortion behemoth that gets some $500 million annually from U.S. taxpayers, worked on that investigation.
His group reported in February 2000 how the baby parts market works: “A baby parts ‘wholesaler’ enters into a financial agreement with an abortion clinic in which the wholesaler pays a monthly ‘site fee’ to the clinic. For this payment, the wholesaler is allowed to place a retrieval agent inside the clinic where he or she is given access to the corpses of children killed there and a workspace to harvest their parts.”
He continued: “The buyer – usually a researcher working for a medical school, pharmaceutical company, bio-tech company or government agency – supplies the wholesaler with a list of the baby parts wanted. … when such orders are received … they are faxed to the retrieval agent at the clinic who harvests the requested parts and ships them to the buyer.”
The documentation was provided at that time to Life Dynamics by a worker who left Comprehensive Health for Women, a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Overland Park, Kansas.
Among the documents was a “Fee-for-Services” Schedule A, effective June 1998, which outlined a charge of $220 per specimen for first-trimester aspiration abortions and $260 if the baby parts were frozen.
Crutcher’s report, citing Planned Parenthood’s own paperwork, found one agent sold during February 1996 alone 47 livers, 11 liver fragments, seven brains, 21 eyes, eight thymuses, 23 legs, 14 pancreases, 14 lungs, six arms and one kidney-adrenal gland.
He also sold three orders of blood from the unborn child. The retrieval agent “harvested all of the parts,” the report said, explaining that “in order for the blood of an aborted child to be sold, the dead baby had to be brought to him intact.”
The “specimens,” the report said, would have generated up to about $25,000 in revenue for one month from one retrieval agent at one Planned Parenthood business.
Crutcher reported the tissue logs reveal that one baby is often chopped up and sold to many buyers.
For example, babies taken from donors 113968 and 114189 were both killed late in their second trimester and cut into nine pieces. By applying the price list, buyers would have been invoiced between $3,510 and $5,070 for these parts, he said.
Another group to document the behavior of Planned Parenthood has been Live Action, which released video after video of Planned Parenthood operatives covering up the sexual abuse of minors, providing false medical counsel, trying to manipulate abortion patients, aiding people trafficking in child sex and more.
Live Action President Lila Rose said the latest CMP video “further illustrates the barbaric reality of business at Planned Parenthood – that after selling an abortion, Planned Parenthood works to improve their bottom line by harvesting the body parts of the child they have just killed.”
“What has our nation come to that we allow the brutality of abortion upon our children, and then sell their broken bodies for profit, all the while, funding the perpetrator?”
She added: “Human rights are bipartisan – where is the outcry from presidential hopefuls Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders and others over sale of the parts of children? Silence in the face of such atrocity is complicity.”
Live Action reported a Planned Parenthood clinic in Minneapolis told a teen to let her partner abuse her with “rope burns” and “markings.”
“Anything” the counselor said, “is normal as long as it’s consensual.”
