Donald Trump, the billionaire businessman who’s lately holding on loosely to his polled lead for the presidency – as contender Ben Carson comes on strong – will appear on Fox News on Tuesday night, an apparent signal of the end of his announced boycott of the cable giant.
A week ago, Trump said in a tweet, as WND reported: “Fox News has been treating me very unfairly & I have therefore decided that I won’t be doing any more Fox shows for the foreseeable future.”
Fox, in response, said through a spokesperson that Trump was only reacting in anger at the cancellation of his appearance on the “O’Reilly Factor” with Bill O’Reilly.
Regardless, Trump hasn’t appeared on the cable outlet for days. But that self-imposed exile may be ended.
The network confirmed he’s coming on the “O’Reilly Factor” on Tuesday evening. The New York Times also reported Trump’s planned meeting with Fox chairman Roger Ailes, set up in the hours after the very public cable-candidate spat, is still set for this week, but the day and time is not yet known.
