Conservative radio host Mark Levin took to “Fox & Friends” national television Tuesday to discuss his new book, “Plunder and Deceit,” and the upcoming election, ultimately slamming Democrats as crazy and Republicans as soft.
He also cited America’s biggest enemy as “big centralized government,” and warned: If youth don’t get in the fight to turn back this swell, the country will suffer irreparable harm.
“You don’t get there overnight,” Levin said, explaining how the left takes a long-view approach to their platforms.
The progressives, for example, started 100 years ago, he said.
“[Meanwhile], we sit around and say we can’t get it tomorrow, [so why bother],” he said. “We need to restore our republic … we don’t have a federal republic.”
Why not?
“One party’s crazier than hell … they’re off the edge,” Levin said, in obvious reference to the Democrats. “The other party is the surrender party.”
Levin said the Republicans have a lot of good candidates in the race for the White House this year, but they “need to break through the establishment” and capture the support of the voters.
“We’re in perilous times and I want to see somebody step up and counter what Obama’s done,” he said. “We’re sick of Washington, we’re sick of candidates who say one thing and do another. … The people are not as stupid as those politicians think they are.”
