President Obama expresses apology April 23 for the deaths of two Western hostages in a U.S. drone strike.
President Obama is little more than a “white president in black face,” said media mogul and Entertainment Studios CEO Byron Allen in a recent interview with TMZ.
“Black America would have done much better with a white president,” said Allen, who is black, the Daily Caller reported. “You have let us down tremendously.”
Allen’s main complaint was that Obama hasn’t done enough for black people, and only incited problems when he called them thugs during the recent riots and looting in Baltimore.
“I’m disappointed that President Obama called those young men out there in Baltimore ‘thugs.’ I’m not condoning violence,” he said, “but I don’t think we should call them thugs because we’ve positioned them to fail and the system has failed them.”
Allen then made a direct plea to Obama: “I say to President Obama, ‘you have to remember who you are. Don’t forget who you are.’ Check the numbers. Black people have fallen further behind under President Obama. We’re being murdered in the streets, we’re being murdered in the courtroom, we’re being murdered in the boardroom.”
And one more comment: “It’s OK to be the president of the United States and also be a black man,” Allen said.
