(Politico) The super PAC supporting Jeb Bush released a new ad on Thursday casting the former Florida governor as “tough enough” to be president and highlighting his debate throwdown with Donald Trump.
The ad, paid for by Right to Rise USA, starts out with a voiceover that says, “One candidate tough enough to take on the bully.” It then moves to a split-screen of Bush’s tangle with Trump, showing a clip of one of the most widely shared lines from Tuesday’s Republican debate: “Donald, you’re not going to be able to insult your way to the presidency — that’s not gonna happen.”

The ad then pivots to Bush talking about his plan to defeat the Islamic State.
