‘Atomic Iran’ predictions from 2005 coming true

Secretary of State John Kerry heads up the U.S. delegation to talk nuclear peace with Iran.

A book written in 2005 warning of the dangers and likelihood of a nuclear Iran that was scorned by numerous publishers – until WND Books stepped in and picked it up – is now seeing a revival of sorts, given the scenarios it predicted that are coming true.

Atomic Iran: How the Terrorist Regime Bought the Bomb and the American Politicians” by WND senior writer Jerome Corsi warned in 2005 of the dangers of Tehran’s nuclear development program. Then, few listened.

“Few people 10 years ago wanted to believe Iran’s nuclear program could be a threat not only to Israel, but to the region and the world,” Corsi said, in previous explanation of  how his book went unpublished until it was accepted by WND Books.

But now, much of its content has been proven true, including Corsi’s predictions of John Kerry, senator-turned-secretary of state, leading America to enter a “grand bargain” with Iran over its nuclear development.

“In 2005, I predicted that Iran would out negotiate the United States,” he said. “I specifically targeted John Kerry, then a U.S. senator from Massachusetts, as the U.S. politician who would be the one to concede to Iran in the negotiations. … I pointed out Iran has a history of lying about its nuclear program that went back to when Russia first decided to build a nuclear power plant for Iran at Bushehr in 1995.”

And his main point now? Here we are, he said, at the cusp of all he predicted a decade ago coming to fruition.

Corsi is set to discuss more of his warnings, and how they are coming true under the Obama administration, during a special two-hour radio interview on George Noory’s nationally broadcast “Coast to Coast AM.” Noory’s show airs from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. Eastern time; Corsi will be on the first two hours.

He’s reported extensively on the issue for WND in previous articles.
