“Do you have what it takes to be a whiny pansy? Do you have what it takes to be a total hypocrite? Do you have what it takes to be offended by everything?” If so, YouTube satirist Hunter Avalon can make you the perfect example of a modern American liberal with these four simple steps.
“As a liberal, everything we don’t like should be banned immediately,” Avalon explains in his liberal tutorial. “But everything we do like, well, that’s a human right and should be paid for by the government.”
Aside from complete lack of reason, the YouTuber says liberals-in-training need to work on looking like liberals.
That can be accomplished with a gay-themed Facebook profile and lefty bumper stickers, according to Avalon.
“I’m talking bumper stickers that say ‘Ready for Hillary,’ ‘Uninformed Voter’ and ‘I break for Bernie,” Avalon says.
Another step to becoming an effective liberal: “Be offended by everything.”
Things as simple as preferring one color crayon over another, calling a person a “person” or sitting comfortably on a couch can give liberals the opportunity to lecture others about racism, transphobia and sexism, the YouTuber says.
And if challenged to a debate, the video advises, forget about using facts to back an argument.
“Facts are a liberal’s least favorite F-word,” Avalon says. “Instead, you can use extremely good, convincing arguments such as; ‘You’re racist,’ [or] ‘You’re sexist,’ ‘You’re white privileged homophobic and racist.’”
