Illegals jumped off a boat on a Miami beach and disappeared into the city streets.
A female model was in the middle of posing for a shoot on a Miami-area beach when a curious real-life scene unfolded in the background – a group of illegal immigrants exited a boat and made their way through the water, onto the beach, and ostensibly, to their new, undocumented lives in America.
The New Times Broward-Palm Beach reported Ekaterina Juskowski was videotaping her model friend and saw, in the camera lens background, a boat rolling up to shore. At first, she turned off her camera, not wanting what she believed to be a scuba boat “ruining the video,” she said. But then several men jumped off the boat and started running through the water toward shore, so she flipped her camera to record.
Turns out, the men were illegals and they were just reaching America.
“That’s a testament to how confident these organizations are – what we call transnational criminal organizations – who smuggle criminals and narcotics right onto the beach,” said U.S. Border Patrol’s Frank Miller, to the New Times. “There has been an increase in known maritime smuggling in Florida, from Key West all along the Florida coast, from fiscal year 2014 to nnow.”
Juskowski, meanwhile, who left Russia for the United States when she was 18, said, “Witnessing people starting their life anew by jumping off the boat and running into the city made my personal struggle seem rather small.”
