The WIRE: Your week in review

From Donald Trump’s border wall (it’ll be “YUGE!”) to wherever Al Sharpton emigrates if Trump gets elected — and most points in between — it’s time for a look back at the week that was. Personal Liberty ® presents: The WIRE — the week in review!

As Hillary Clinton continues to widen the gap on Bernie Sanders, his supporters are complaining about the fix being in for the old girl. Not like there’s any irony in Sanders feeling cheated when someone “redistributes” support he earned.

“Wait — THAT’S what socialism meant this whole time?”

Back home, Nana Hilldawg’s email woes deepen, as new revelations suggest she has either lied non-stop about the scandal, or she’s completely flummoxed by all this new-fangled tech-know-logee.

“How do I get the Dumont Network on this thing? I think my clicker’s broken.”

Purported “Reverend” Al Sharpton told reporters that if Donald Trump wins the Presidency he’s pulling up stakes because Trump would “probably have me deported anyhow.” Apparently, Obama’s favorite race pimp doesn’t know that we don’t deport people for tax evasion, arson or murder.

I wasn’t really feeling Trump; but this could turn me.

Not that he asked for it, but Donald Trump got the endorsement of racist buffoon David Duke this week. Duke’s nod makes Trump the 1st candidate to get the endorsement of a member of the KKK since… Barack Obama.

“Some of his best ‘friends’ were ‘those people.’”

Former President George H.W. Bush made the scene at Thursday night’s presidential debate; even though his son Jeb dropped out of the race last Sunday.

That moment Dad shows up for Junior’s big game, only to find out Junior got cut last week.

Secretary of State John Kerry is having “additional evaluation” done to see if the ongoing slaughter of Christians in the Mideast qualifies as genocide.

The dead bodies and celebrating Muslims weren’t a dead giveaway?

Said Kerry to a Senate panel when asked about one released Guantanamo Bay detainee who has rejoined Al Qaeda “He’s not supposed to be doing that.” Tough talk, Mr. Secretary. What’s next? “Double-secret probation?”

“The time has come for someone to put his foot down.” (Pictured: the foot.)

Meanwhile, Obama still wants to move all the terrorists at GTMO to some lucky American neighborhood.

Close to schools, shopping and the local ‘mosque.’

Apple is standing up to Federal pressure to unlock the iPhone of San Bernardino islamofascist Syed Farook. Their concerns stem from the dangers of an already-openly intrusive Government getting a free backstage pass to everyone’s personal lives.

The same government gave us the Patriot Act and the NSA spying scandal. But THIS time, it’ll be different.

Despite being caught on video using racist slurs while brutally assaulting decorated Marine Christopher Marquez, a couple of thugs from the gun-free paradise of Washington, D.C., will not be facing hate crime charges.

Hate? That’s just how we say “howdy” around these parts!

Before details could come in of the carnage from African-American shooter Cedric Ford’s rampage in Hesston, Kansas, anti-Bill of Rights hate group Moms Demand Action was seen feverishly updating their propaganda in magic marker.

Damn, y’all! The bodies aren’t even cold yet. Is it weird not having a soul?

Months after threatening journalists with violence if they didn’t stay outside racist protesters’ “safe space” at the University of Missouri, disgraced “professor” Melissa Click was finally fired.

“Can I get some muscle over here? I gotta carry all my junk to the car.”

His resume also includes: burning thousands of gallons of jet fuel to fly around the world telling people not to burn stuff like jet fuel. Now, Bill Nye “the Science Guy” is worried that lower gas prices will exacerbate so-called “global warming.” And he would know, what with his degree from the University of Al Gore.

He’s not a scientist, but he plays one on TV!

And, 71 years ago this week, Joe Rosenthal snapped this iconic photograph of five Marines and one Navy Corpsman raising the Flag over Mount Suribachi on Iwo Jima. The battle for the island raged for a month after the photo was taken; half the men in the image died there, along with nearly 7,000 other Americans. Unfortunately for them, there were no “safe spaces” on Iwo Jima.

“Microaggressions” would have been welcome change, too.

And that’s your week in review! For the Personal Liberty Digest®, I’m Ben Crystal saying “See you next week, on The WIRE!”
