(THE HILL) Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz tag teamed Donald Trump on Thursday in the latest GOP presidential debate, and were spotted shaking hands behind the businessman’s back during a commercial break.
CNN, which hosted the debate in Houston, shared images of the moment on Friday morning, showing Cruz and Rubio stepping away from their lecterns to shake hands while Trump and Ben Carson remained at their mics.
