(Washington Examiner) Bernie Sanders’ Thursday night rally at the Chicago State University took an unexpected turn when a woman attempted to jump on stage and charge the Vermont senator.
The Democratic presidential candidate had been rallying the crowd for 45 minutes when a woman got too close to him. Sanders, visibly concerned about his safety, stopped talking. A member of Sanders’ Secret Service jumped next to him, putting his arm in front of the politician to shield him.
