(THE HILL) — Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) tore into the host of “Fox News Sunday” when asked about his campaign’s role in spreading falsehoods about rival Ben Carson in Iowa.
“Every accusation you raised is incorrect,” Cruz told Chris Wallace. “I appreciate you reading the Donald Trump attack file on that.”
Cruz has faced heavy criticism for emails his campaign sent reporting that Carson was dropping out of the race before the end of the Iowa caucuses earlier this month. Carson said the false information may have cost him votes.
