It was the undisputed “center of the world” in the past.
It is a city that is in the news every day today.
And, if you read Scriptures pertaining to the coming kingdom of God, it will, again, be the undisputed center of the world in the future.
Have you been there?
Have you walked the streets?
Have you seen the sky overhead?
Have you been to Jerusalem lately?
Isn’t it time?
Who better to pilgrimage with than Jonathan Cahn, “The Harbinger Man,” America’s most prominent messianic rabbi, twice a New York Times bestselling author, and WND’s Joseph Farah, the Internet news pioneer and bestselling author who describes himself as a “messianic Arab-American”?
That opportunity is coming around again for a third time this November with the annual WND Israel Tour – and the ascension to Jerusalem is always the highlight of these adventures.
“It’s the most intense piece of earth on the planet,” says Cahn. “There’s no other place you can stand on and say you’re in the center of the world. On the upcoming tour to Israel this November, we will be walking on the ground on which the Temple of God stood, where His glory touched the earth. It’s where prophets dwelt, where the apostles taught, where Messiah walked and shared. It’s the center of controversy, the most contested piece of real estate on earth. Jerusalem is the reason for Israel and the Temple Mount is the reason for Jerusalem. More than once, the entire peace of the world has rested on this ground.”
This is where Jesus-Yeshua walked – and it’s where He will walk again, says Farah. In fact, he reminds, Jerusalem and the Temple area is from where He will rule and reign.
“It’s where Ezekiel saw the glory of God depart, and where he saw again, that God’s glory will return,” says Cahn. “It’s one of the biblical sites concerning which there can be no question of authenticity. We know that this is the ground on which the center of biblical history took place. When you walk on the mount, you can find yourself walking on the same ancient stones of Herod that were there in the time of Jesus.”
While there is controversy about everything involving Jerusalem – just as the prophets predicted there would be (Isaiah 34:8, Jeremiah 25:31, Ezekiel 44:24) – there is no question about the general area of the Temple.
“One of the most fascinating aspects of the mount is where the Temple of Jerusalem actually stood,” says Cahn. “The first theory is that it stood directly on the site where now stands the Dome of the Rock and in fact, that the Dome of the Rock marks the site of the Holy of Holies. Another theory is that the Temple stood in the courtyard to the north of the Dome of the Rock, and that the Holy of Holies is marked by a mysterious structure called the Dome of the Tablets or the Dome of the Spirits. Recently there have been even more theories and speculation that the Temple could have rested to the south of the Dome of the Rock in the direction of David’s city. We’ll be able to see all of this for ourselves when we ascend the mount.”
Besides being “the center of the world,” Cahn adds, “It’s also the center of prophecy. It’s where the Temple spoken of in end-time prophecy will rest and the place from where in the kingdom, Messiah himself will reign over the earth.”
In November, you’ll have the chance to see it all with Cahn and Farah.
“Because of how intense the situation is, there are only certain times and certain ways in which one can get access to the Mount,” says Cahn. “But we always make sure to bring the entire tour there as there’s no place on earth as important or central in the plans of God and prophecy. The Scriptures speak of ascending the ‘Holy Hill of God.’ This was the Holy Hill. And it’s always the highest honor to ascend it.”
Will you be there this year in Jerusalem with Cahn and Farah?
“It’s so exciting to have messianic rabbi Jonathan Cahn back on the 2016 WND Israel tour in November,” Farah said. “We had hundreds of ecstatic participants in 2013 and 2014 when he led our tours. Jonathan Cahn is a genuine rock star in the American church and his knowledge of Christianity’s Hebrew roots is unsurpassed. Who better to lead you through Israel’s history, current events and spiritual examples to us? If you’ve never experienced Israel with Jonathan, you haven’t experienced it yet. I can tell you that as someone who has been there more times than I can count.”
Cahn is the author of “The Harbinger,” the No. 1 bestselling Christian book in America in 2012 – a book that stayed on the New York Times bestseller list longer than any other title. In 2015, Cahn’s “Mystery of the Shemitah” also became a New York Times bestseller. He’s also the inspiration for “The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment,” the No. 1 faith movie of 2012 and 2013. In partnership with WND Films, which produced “The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment” and “The Harbinger Man,” Cahn also releases some of his finest teachings on DVD.
But there’s no substitute for walking where Messiah Himself walked as you are educated firsthand by one of the foremost voices in American Christianity and the undisputed heavyweight champ of messianic Judaism. And because of the popularity of Cahn’s message and his deep knowledge of the Hebrew roots of the Christian faith, this tour is expected to be a sell-out. The previous two WND tours featuring Cahn were the biggest Israel tours from the states in 2013 and 2014.
