A just-surfaced angle of a video of the Black Lives Matter storming of the recent NetRoots Nation presidential town hall meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, shows the co-founder of the group fueling her fellow members to scream for burning, looting and rioting of various cities in the coming weeks.
In an expletive-laced video, the activists can be heard shouting the likes of “burn everything down,” and “shut this [crap] down.”
Breitbart reported the calls for looting weren’t coming from the group’s fringe element, but rather at the orchestration of Patrisee Cullors, one of Black Lives Matter’s founders. The video shows her shouting out and pumping her fist in response to the calls for violence.
The video surfaced at a time of growing influence for the Black Lives Matter organization.
Cullors told one journalist from Britain: “We’re going into the halls of power now. Many of us are meeting with mayors or meeting with local government. Some of us have met with President Obama himself to talk about [our] demands.”
And as Breitbart found: Cullors’ name does appear in White House visitor sign-in records.
Also on the video were crowd chants about the evils of “white supremacy” and the fear this perceived state of the nation could lead to the deaths of many blacks.
“If I die in police custody, know your silence helped kill me,” one shouted, Breitbart found. “White supremacy helped kill me. And my child is parentless now.”
And another: “If I die in police custody know that I want to live. We want to live. We fight to live. Black lives matter. All black lives matter.”
Netroots, the host of the town hall, declined to criticize the Black Lives Matter protest that usurped the meeting.
“Although we wish the candidates had more time to respond to the issues, what happened today is reflective of an urgent moment that America is facing today,” Netroots said in a statement reported by Breitbart. “In 2016, we’re heading to St. Louis. We plan to work with activists there just as we did in Phoenix with local leaders, including the #BlackLivesMatter movement to amplify issues like racial profiling and police brutality in a major way.”
