MSNBC “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough turned a highly critical eye on Megyn Kelly on Tuesday, telling his television audience the Fox News star sounded more like Rachel Maddow than a conservative talker when she spoke of Donald Trump on her most recent show.
The segment involved Kelly’s confrontation of a former campaign adviser for Trump, calling his answers to pointed questions about the billionaire’s statements a “dodge,” Breitbart reported.
But her questioning went even deeper, and to Scarborough, certain points seemed over the top.
“Right now it is likely that Donald Trump continues to do very well,” Scarborough said, Breitbart reported. “And Mika, I saw Megyn Kelly last night for a few minutes. She sounded like Rachel Maddow, attacking Trump. I mean, it was vicious. And then you have Bill Kristol saying he will never vote for Donald Trump. A civil war is coming in the Republican Party if this continues and I think that’s the most likely scenario.”
