(THE HILL) WikiLeaks capped off Tuesday’s surprising presidential election with a tweet appearing to mock Democrats for picking Hillary Clinton as their nominee.
“By biasing its internal electoral market the DNC selected the less competitive candidate defeating the purpose of running a primary,” the official account tweeted near midnight.
Throughout the campaign, WikiLeaks published hacked Democratic National Committee (DNC) emails that it said showed the party was biased toward Clinton over her primary rival, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).
