(Daily Caller) President-elect Donald Trump is preparing to defund Obamacare “on day one,” a source familiar with Trump’s transition team told The Daily Caller News Foundation.
Trump made repealing Obamacare a central tenant of his campaign, regularly promising voters that he will repeal and replace Obamacare “with something terrific.”
Congressional Republicans and Trump are in a good position to defund the Obamacare early on in Trump’s presidency, according to a staffer for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who spoke with TheDCNF.
