Whether it’s President-elect Hillary Clinton on Wednesday morning, or failed presidential candidate and terminus of the Clinton dynasty Hillary Clinton, there’s something that will be a constant.
Her danger to the nation, according to a national security expert.
Because either she will be in a position to carry out her policies or a major voice in the Democratic Party.
But as a commander-in-chief, she would be a disaster, according to Philip Haney, a recently retired Department of Homeland Security officer.
He charged Clinton wouldn’t even be able to get an entry-level job at his former agency.
“The average DHS employee who mishandled classified information in the careless way that Hillary Clinton mishandled it would be thoroughly investigated, both administratively and criminally, and would either be fired, or jailed and fined, depending of the severity of the infraction,” he said.
Has our own government already surrendered to Islamic jihad? A national security insider uncovers the terrible truth. Philip Haney’s “See Something, Say Nothing” is available now from the WND Superstore.
“Even if they weren’t fired or sent to jail, it is very likely that they would also lose any higher security clearances and be closely monitored by DHS management.”
However, Haney alleged there is something far more sinister at work. He argued Clinton is essentially working with the Muslim Brotherhood in terms of both policy and personnel.
Clinton’s close aide Huma Abedin, who also mishandled classified information, has been identified by several intelligence operatives as a potential security risk because of her close ties to the Saudis.
That’s bad enough, but Haney said the threat presented by Clinton goes beyond her associations.
“Hillary Clinton has established an alliance with the Muslim Brotherhood in both the domestic counter-terrorism arena — through the policy of per Countering Violent Extremism — and in the foreign counter-terrorism arena,” he charged.
“This alliance has already had dire consequences for people living in the Middle East and will have dire consequences for American citizens. Muslim Brotherhood front groups such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the Islamic Society of North America and the North American Islamic Trust have already intruded themselves into the domestic political arena, as well as into the law enforcement and legal arenas. Failure to identify the Muslim Brotherhood as sponsors of terror, as proposed in legislation such as HR 3892, will put our country at great risk in the future.”
It’s something Haney saw firsthand, as he chronicled in his explosive book “See Something, Say Nothing: A Homeland Security Officer Exposes The Government’s Submission to Jihad.”
While working for the Department of Homeland Security, Haney witnessed the Obama administration working with extremist groups and moving away from efforts of counter-terrorism. Instead, the administration championed a supposed strategy of “Countering Violent Extremism,” which is based on an emphasis on civil rights and civil liberties.
As a result, instead of investigating militant Islamic organizations for extremist ties and possible material support for terrorism, the administration actually brought groups such as the Islamic Society of North America into the administration to help form national security policy.
And it wasn’t a one-time event. Haney said the Obama administration repeatedly sacrificed American security to political correctness.
In 2009, he was instructed by his superiors to delete information linking the Muslim Brotherhood to terrorism. In 2012, the Obama administration purged his records on an Islamic extremist movement known as Tablighi Jamaat. The records included information on a network that was linked to Omar Mateen’s massacre in Orlando, Florida, in June.
The veteran analyst and counter-terrorism specialist predicted a second Clinton administration would not only continue covering up Islamic extremism but would even use the power of the government to crack down on critics of Islam.
“She will continue supporting and implementing policies such as those outlined in the Istanbul Process, U.N. Resolution 16/18 and the newly emerged global counter terrorism program called the Strong Cities Initiative,” Haney charged.
The Istanbul Process is a transnational mandate initiative seeking sanctions against speech that promotes negative stereotypes about Muslims and Islam. U.N. resolution 16/18 calls for criminalization of “incitement to religious hatred,” a subjective concept that anti-jihadist campaigner Pamela Geller believes could lead to critics of Islam being arrested. And the Strong Cities Initiative is intended to strip authority from local police departments to target vaguely defined “extremists” instead of terrorists. Some critics believe it’s a code phrase allowing law enforcement to investigate conservative Christians and Second Amendment advocates.
A Clinton presidency, Haney believes, would continue the transformation of American national security into a politicized bureaucracy that ignores the real threats to the nation.
And, confirming the reports from political insiders such as intelligence operative Steve Pieczenik of opposition to the Clintons from inside the intelligence and law enforcement services, Haney said those dedicated to keeping America safe are furious at the prospect of another Clinton in power.
“Everyone I know in the national security, intelligence and law enforcement communities are disgusted at the brazen abrogation of duty that Hillary Clinton and her supports have shown for the basic principles of protecting our country from threats, both foreign and domestic,” he said.
