A new Suffolk University/USA Today poll illustrates that just 10 percent of Americans believe Democrats’ claims that Russian hackers are manipulating the U.S. political process.
Who would Americans blame for an election outcome that doesn’t represent the true will of the voting public?
The news media.
Here’s how things shook out when pollsters asked: “What do you think is the primary threat that might try to change the election results?”
- 45.53 percent said “the news media”
- 20.79 percent said “the national political establishment”
- 13.42 percent weren’t sure
- 10 percent said “foreign interests such as Russian hackers”
- 8.95 percent said “local political bosses”
Nearly half of Americans polled said they didn’t trust media to cover the political campaigns objectively and 38.8 percent believe that media is actually coordinating with campaigns.
Of course, we’ve long known that the Clinton campaign has the media in its pocket.
Big media made a deal with the Clinton devil long ago
More proof the press is all in for Hillary Clinton
For media, questioning Clinton’s health is a fireable offense
We’ve also known that the “blame Russia” stuff is bunk.
Insiders aren’t buying Clinton’s ‘blame the Russians’ deflections on emails
What’s surprising, however, is that so many more Americans are beginning to see the light.
Suppose we have all those “Russian hackers” to thank for that…
