An Islamic terrorist attacked a crowd of Americans at a mall in St. Cloud, Minnesota, last weekend. An Islamic terrorist, likely more than one, bombed New York and New Jersey last weekend as well. The latter case raises serious questions about our government’s competence in responding to global Islamofascism. But I’d like to focus on the Minnesota monster for a few moments; only partially because the corporate media seems bent on avoiding even acknowledging it even existed.
Dahir Adan, an Islamic immigrant from Somalia, went on a rampage Saturday night at the Crossroads Mall in St. Cloud, a small city 50 miles north of the Twin Cities. By the time he was neutralized he had stabbed nine people. It didn’t take long for everyone’s favorite devotees of the “religion of peace” to take credit for the crimes, calling Adan a “soldier of the Islamic State.” Whether Adan was acting on behalf of ISIS or not, he absolutely believed was acting on behalf of Islam. During his mission, Adan even asked a victim if they were Muslim, possibly because Minnesota is home to the largest community of Somalis outside Somalia and he didn’t want to stab a fellow jihadi.
God — sorry — Allah be praised that Adan wasn’t as good at anatomy as he was at hating infidels. The only fatality at the Crossroads Mall was Dahir Adan. He was shot and killed by a citizen with a permitted, concealed, firearm. The hero, an off-duty police officer from a neighboring town, is also an NRA-certified concealed carry and firearms instructor. Adan’s fate serves to remind us of the old adage about bringing a knife to a gunfight. More importantly, it serves to remind us that a good guy with a gun can — and does — stop a bad guy, period.
While Islamic terrorist attacks spread across America like a particularly nasty infection, our fearless leaders have turned their laser-like gazes upon the real enemies: us. Aside from their crusade against so-called “climate change,” the American left has made no bones about their hatred for Americans. We’re “bitter clingers.” We’re “lazy.” We belong in a “basket of deplorables.” According to Hillary Clinton, somewhere in the neighborhood of 150 million of us are the “enemies” she’s most proud to have made.
The current champions of Islamofascism, ISIS, are openly engaging in acts of violent terror within our own borders. The federal government has not only shown no ability to stop them, they’re too busy harassing Americans for donating to the “wrong” political movement to even care. Whether ISIS directed, or merely inspired, the latest string of terrorist acts is essentially immaterial; especially when you consider the fact that current President Barack Obama and his anointed successor consider you more dangerous than ISIS. According to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and the rest of their left wing minions, the bad guys won in St. Cloud.
