Hillary ‘does not know how to use a computer to do email’

Hillary Clinton’s senior aides claimed in 2009 that she was so technologically clueless she did not know how to access email from a computer.

The State Department released an email Monday that said former secretary of state’s chief of staff, Cheryl Mills, warned department official Lewis Lukens of a “problem” her boss had with basic technology.

“[Mills said Clinton] does not know how to use a computer to do email – only [Blackberry]. But I said [it] would not take much training to get her up to speed,” Lukens told senior manager Patrick Kennedy on Jan. 24, 2009,” Judicial Watch reported.

Lukens said one solution would be to set up a “standalone” system that would allow Clinton to be “connected to the internet (but not through our system) to enable her to check emails from her desk.”

“The stand-alone seperate [sic] network PC is on on [sic] great idea,” Kennedy replied.

State Department spokesman John Kirby told reporters on Monday that such a system was never implemented, the The Hill reported.

Nearly 100 FBI special agents are attempting to determine whether Clinton violated a subsection of the Espionage Act related to “gross negligence” in handling government documents. Agents are also trying to discern whether co-mingling of the Clinton Foundation and State Department business violated public corruption laws.

News of the “standalone” request comes in conjunction with an exclusive Fox News report that “operational intelligence” found on Clinton’s personal email server jeopardized “sources, methods and lives.” The U.S. government official, who was not authorized to speak on the record, reviewed 22 “top secret” Clinton emails the State Department refused to release for public consumption.

Clinton has consistently argued she did nothing wrong because emails that passed through her server were not specifically marked as “top secret.”

“There is no way that someone, a senior government official who has been handling classified information for a good chunk of their adult life, could not have known that this information ought to be classified, whether it was marked or not,” Rep. Mike Pompeo, R-Kan., who sits on the House intelligence committee, told Fox on Monday. “Anyone with the capacity to read and an understanding of American national security, an 8th grade reading level or above, would understand that the release of this information or the potential breach of a non-secure system presented risk to American national security.”
