A Wisconsin woman is giving a whole new meaning to “smear campaign.”
The passionate partisan for Hillary Clinton, Christina Ferguson, 32, was arrested Monday and charged with disorderly conduct after allegedly smearing peanut butter on approximately 30 vehicles parked outside what she thought was a Donald Trump rally.
The Amherst Junction woman reportedly was passing by the event being held on the 3900 block of Second St. when she decided to burst in and disrupt the gathering, reported Steven’s Point City Times.
Ferguson, holding a jar of peanut butter, surprised the attendees and began yelling that she hated Donald Trump. She then left the building after being requested to do so.
What Ferguson did not realize was that she had not crashed a Trump rally – she had interrupted a meeting of the Tomorrow River Conservation Club.
Several minutes passed before one of the members decided to check the parking lot, just in case the incensed woman was up to no good. When he did, he observed Ferguson spreading peanut butter on a vehicle. He yelled and she fled to a nearby apartment house where she was taken into custody by sheriff’s deputies.
Despite both Ferguson and a male housemate claiming the woman had not left the residence that evening, deputies noted their suspect repeatedly licked her fingers as she was being questioned.
After being positively identified by a conservation-club member, Ferguson reportedly became “very emotional,” admitting she had vandalized the vehicles with peanut butter and saying “how much she loved Hillary Clinton and hated Donald Trump,” according to the crime report.

“Peanut-buttering is better than firebombing, and Trump plans on firebombing everybody in other countries,” Ferguson reportedly told deputies.
Ferguson’s brand of choice, according to the report, was a “family-size jar of low-sodium, creamy natural Jif.”
Feguson, who blew .218 on the officers’ breathalyzer, admitted she had been drinking beer and brandy before she disrupted the meeting. Upon learning the gathering had nothign to do with the Trump campaign, Ferguson said she was “just fed up about the entire election” and apologized for what she had done.
