(CBS NEWS) Ron Paul, the father of Republican presidential candidate and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, chimed in Wednesday with his opinion on Donald Trump’s chances at securing the GOP nomination.
When asked during a Newsmax TV interview if he believed the current GOP front-runner was likely to end up on the Republican ticket, Paul responded: “At this point, it certainly is realistic.”
“But,” he added, “if I had a limited sum of money that I thought, you know, it’s a sure bet, I probably wouldn’t invest a whole lot.”
