“Government policy claims 9 victims” should be the headline in South Carolina.
Nine people were slaughtered by a person who is either deranged or under mind-altering drugs (either voluntarily or coerced or forced for nefarious purposes). In South Carolina, churches are gun-free zones by law. Someone forgot to tell Dylann Roof.
A relative of the survivor claims Roof unloaded and reloaded his weapon at least five times and one of the murder victims tried to talk him out of the killing. Had just one of the victims been armed, Roof could have been disarmed or disabled.
Guns don’t kill people. Gun laws do.
