(Daily Caller) Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton announced Friday that Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine will serve alongside her as the vice presidential candidate.
Clinton tweeted out, “I’m thrilled to announce my running mate, [Tim Kaine], a man who’s devoted his life to fighting for others.” Kaine has served in the U.S Senate since 2012 and was previously Governor of Virginia from 2006 to 2010.
Kaine brings executive experience of a swing state to the Clinton ticket. He is also a white male, the group Clinton polls the worst with.
