(MCCLATCHY) Lyft riders in D.C. won’t be able to catch a ride in a car with congressional license plates anymore.
U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Maryland, said Wednesday that he had removed the plates from the car after news organizations reported it was being used to drive for Lyft, the ride-sharing app.
Cummings acknowledged that the car is his, but that his daughter Adia, not he, had started driving for the company.nk=cpy
