Trump knocks Rove as ‘dishonorable guy’

Donald Trump, the front-runner candidate for the Republican Party’s primary for president, took pot shots at Karl Rove, a key face of the more establishment wing of the GOP, calling the former George W. Bush political guru a “dishonorable’ individual.

“This guy is such a dishonorable guy,” Trump said, in an exclusive interview with Breitbart. “He shouldn’t be allowed to write for the Wall Street Journal.”

Trump made the comments in response to Rove’s piece, entitled “Vanity Will Be the Donald’s Undoing,” published just a few hours earlier.

Among Rove’s opinions: “[Trump’s] often displayed his ignorance about myriad policies,” and has “added to the impression of not having thought through his presidential bid.”

Trump said Rove, in his Wall Street Journal piece, had misquoted him.

“Karl Rove writes articles and he quotes me with things I never said,” Trump told Breitbart. “He actually makes up quotes and it is so disgraceful that he’s allowed to do it and he writes in the Wall Street Journal, which is a newspaper that totally misrepresents so much.”
