(POLITICO) John Kasich is courting the Republican party’s biggest donors.
Kasich’s top advisers, including former New Hampshire Sen. John Sununu, campaign manager Beth Hansen, and chief strategist John Weaver, are holding a series of political briefings over the next two days for major uncommitted donors in California. The presentations include a planned slide-show presentation and discussion about Kasich’s path forward in the primary.
The meetings, which are taking place across the state, began on Tuesday morning in Silicon Valley with an event that was attended by Hewlett Packard executive Meg Whitman.
