(DAILYCALLER) — During a Tuesday interview on “Morning Joe,” Donald Trump responded to former Mexican President Felipe Calderon’s claim that a wall along the Mexican border “will be completely useless.”
“What [the American people] really care about is safety,” Trump explained. “They really care about the border. They talk about the border, they love the border. They love the wall.”
“I heard” President Calderon’s claims that Mexico will not pay for any part of a border wall, “and I said, ‘now the wall just got taller.’”
