The WIRE: Your week in review

From the Vatican to wherever else the Pope plans to visit — and most points in between — it’s time for a look back at the week that was. Personal Liberty ® presents: The WIRE — the week in review!

Death of a Justice

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, one of the great jurists of American – if not human – history, passed away unexpectedly last weekend, completely reframing the current political climate, not to mention the 2016 Presidential race. Scalia’s passing also gave a chance for liberals to let their freak flags fly at full mast. Within mere minutes of Scalia’s death, Democrats poured onto social media to celebrate the passing of the Judicial giant.

Nothing says “classy” like laughing before the body gets cold.

The liberals cheering death of Justice Scalia also turned their hate high-beams on Justice Clarence Thomas.

I guess not ALL #BlackLivesMatter.

Obama announced his schedule was just too packed to show up for the fallen justice’s funeral; although he found the time to meet with a group of so-called “social activists,” including tax cheat Al Sharpton.

Sorry Scalia, but I gotta get my thug on!

Despite the Democrats giving them 55 years of precedent, Senate Republicans have shown some signs of caving to pressure and allowing Obama to replace Scalia immediately.

You guys let Obama slide some disgrace onto the Supreme Court, and he won’t be the only one looking for work next year.

Obama, who is already preparing to deploy the race card against anyone who tries to block his nominee, now claims he “regrets” joining the partisan filibuster of the 2006 nomination of Justice Samuel Alito.

It’s not hypocrisy if you’re black.

Back on the Campaign Trail

New information revealed that Hillary Clinton’s illegal email server contained details on Afghanistan nationals who assisted efforts against islamofascist terrorists like Al Qaeda and the Taliban; meaning she may well have put even more human lives in danger.

“Tell us about it.”

Speaking of drunks, Hillary probably wasn’t drunk when she literally began barking during a speech.

My dogs didn’t come out from under the couch until this morning.

Concerns are mounting about the prospective First Bubba’s health, as former President Bill Clinton has appeared pale and sickly at his wife’s events.

That’s it, buster. No more “interns” on school nights.

Donald Trump might have missed a chance to serve in Vietnam, thanks to multiple deferments, but he fought a righteous battle of his own. According to Trump, avoiding STDs was his “personal Vietnam.”

Forged on the battlefields of the Upper East Side.

An Indian-American woman Governor and an African-American Senator endorsed a Latino Senator this week.

Not pictured: old, white Democrats.

Of course, Rubio has his own issues; notably his support for amnesty for illegal aliens. Perhaps that’s why he chose to no-show the Conservative Review event in Greenville, South Carolina just before the Palmetto State’s Presidential primary.

Maybe he can get Ted Cruz to Photoshop him in.

Florida’s liberal firebrand Congressman Alan Grayson, whose name has popped up as a possible Vice Presidential nominee for Bernie Sanders despite rumors of getting kinda handsy around the ladies, allegedly used his Congressional office to push an offshore hedge fund.

Bernie claims to represent the 99%; Alan will cover the other 1%.

Just a week after Hillary supporters implied women who support Bernie Sanders are whores, actress Susan Sarandon hit the trail for the nearly-octogenarian socialist, asserting “I don’t vote with my vagina.”

Someone please make the weird lady stop talking about her burning vagina.

The Pope vs “The Donald”

During his tour of Mexico, Pope Francis I told reporters that Donald Trump is “not Christian” for wanting to secure the dangerously porous border between the U.S. and garden spots like Ciudad Juarez. He has expressed such sentiments before, but they were hard to hear from behind the HUGE wall which surrounds The Vatican.

He NEEDS this wall! It protects all his awesome stuff!

Trump might have overplayed his response a bit, though. After he snapped back at the Pope, the Trump Tower in Chicago caught fire.

It’s probably just a coincidence, Donald. Probably. Can you stand a little farther away?

Trouble in Muslim Paradise

Forget the 72 virgins, money troubles are threatening ISIS’s most basic “services.” The islamofascist terror group is reportedly slashing salaries and benefits.

Bad news, Akbar; you and Mahmoud have to carpool to your suicide bombing.

Apple is resisting Federal demands to break into the IPhone of Islamic terrorist Syed Farook in the wake of last December’s attack in San Bernardino.

ISIS-linked terrorists have better digital security than Nana.

Havana Nights

Obama announced a historic visit to Cuba, where he’ll kick back with communist dictator Raul Castro and, presumably trade tips on suppressing dissenters from experts.

“You crush dissent with IRS audits? We use bullets.”

Guns and Groceries

Anti-Bill of Rights hate group “Everytown” proudly announced that they had successfully threatened Trader Joe’s into turning their stores into so-called “gun free zones.”

Now I can’t buy overpriced quinoa and kale chips from obnoxious hipster douchebags? OH NOES!

And that’s your week in review! For the Personal Liberty Digest®, I’m Ben Crystal saying “See you next week, on The WIRE!”
