(The Hill) Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and his staff on Friday continued his fight against Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), his Senate colleague and GOP presidential rival.
After Rubio missed the Friday vote on the massive, $1.1 trillion government-spending bill – a measure he said he opposed – Cruz said he would let the senator “defend his own voting record.”
“I can tell you that I flew back to Washington, D.C., today to vote against this omnibus,” Cruz told reporters, according to CNN.
