(Daily Caller) Texan tech billionaire Darwin Deason is asking for the return of millions in donations he made to the Opportunity and Freedom PAC now that former Gov. Rick Perry has taken himself out of the running for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.
“We have made it clear we expect the PAC to shut down and send the funds back,” Deason’s son, Doug, told Politico.
Austin Barbour, the top operative at the organization, said the super PAC plans to give back the money.
