An employee inside the complex has reported the gates are closed, alarms are sounding, and shots have been fired. At least three or four different law enforcement agencies have converged on the scene.

In 2013, Aaron Alexis, a Navy veteran, shot and killed 12 people during a shocking spree at a couple of office buildings on the facility. He was ultimately killed by police in a shoot-out. Since, authorities enacted several safety measures that limit access to the complex to two locations.
