(PALMBEACHPOST) — It looks like the son of actor Tom Hanks is in the business of dishing out history and free speech lessons to everyone.
Chester Hanks, who is the son of Hanks and actress Rita Wilson, posted a photo on Instagram that included a racial slur and ignited some controversy, according to Newser. In the Instagram post, Hanks used the n-word twice in a post talking about some of his friends.
The photo started controversy with other media outlets calling out the rapper for using racial slurs in his posts. Hanks responded via Instagram on Tuesday morning with his reasoning behind being able to use that slur.
