Jerry Seinfeld, one of America’s most successful comedians, says he won’t do shows on college campuses any more because the audiences at these venues have become far too politically correct.
During an ESPN interview with Colin Cowherd, Seinfeld explained how his colleagues have warned him to avoid the campus scene – and he now agrees.
He told a story of how his wife said to their daughter, “In the next couple of years, I think maybe you’re going to want to hang around the city more on the weekends so you can see boys,’ and their daughter responded by saying that’s ‘sexist,’” Seinfeld said, Mediaite reported.
And Seinfeld’s response?
“They just want to use these words,” he said, referring to college students. “‘That’s racist, that’s sexist, that’s prejudice.’ They don’t even know what they’re talking about.”
