(The Blaze) After it was revealed that outspoken conservative activist Pamela Gellar was reportedly targeted for beheading by terror suspect Usaama Rahim, CNN host Erin Burnett asked the would-be victim a question that has sparked some discussion online.
Rahim, who is suspected of being radicalized by Islamic State propaganda, was fatally shot after he came at police with a military knife. A second suspect, David Wright, was also arrested in connection to an alleged plot to behead police officers.
In light of the latest developments, Burnett pointed out that the Southern Poverty Law Center has labeled Gellar the “anti-Muslim movement’s most visible and flamboyant figurehead.”
