President Obama went on Channel 2 in Israel to discuss the political climate and ended up sliding in slams against Benjamin Netanyahu, suggesting the prime minister is “predisposed” to act as if war were right around the corner.

Specifically, Obama described the Jewish leader as driven by fear, especially when dealing with Palestinians.

“I think Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is somebody who’s predisposed of thinking of security first,” Obama said, the Gateway Pundit reported. “To think perhaps that peace is naive. To see the worst possibilities as opposed to the best possibilities in Arab partners or Palestinian partners.”

Obama made the remark shortly after former White House adviser David Axelrod claimed on Israeli television the president thinks of himself as “the closest thing to a Jew that has ever sat in this office.”
